Peter Mun
I’m Peter, the Lead Pastor of the English Ministry. As the lead pastor, my primary role includes shepherding, preaching, and casting vision for the English Ministry in accordance with Global Mission Church. My deepest passion is to see people meet Christ, discipling them, and helping them become the person God made them to be (Their true authentic self). I grew up attending Global Mission Church so it is a special place to me. I want people to experience the fun, loving, and meaningful friendships I did. I genuinely love all the different people we have at Global Mission Church. I enjoy working out, playing sports, and time outdoors with my two corgis. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children.

College and Young Adult Pastor
Hi, I’m Ken and I am the College and Young Adult Pastor at Global Mission Church. In this role, one thing I love and appreciate about this ministry is spending time providing counsel and guidance as they navigate the multiple transitions in their lives. As a transplant into this church, the thing that I love about this church is the multigenerational history that this church has. To hear of many generations within this church growing and loving the Lord is something special to be a part of. It truly has this “homey-ness” that many speak to and feel honored to be a part of the family. In my spare time, I either let my inner child go by playing video games, board games, or tabletop games or root for my Washington Commanders and Capitals enthusiastically whenever they’re playing while trying not to scare everyone inside the home. I also like to spend time with my wife as we watch Korean shows together or go on walks with our dog.

Ministry Deacon​
By God's grace, I have had the privilege of serving Global Mission Church for more than three decades in a variety of ministries. Through these opportunities, God has continually reminded me that ministry is about faithfully serving Christ and caring for His people. As the Supporting Ministry Deacon for the English Ministry, I work alongside our pastoral staff and ministry directors to support the congregation and advance the mission of the church. I also serve as an affiliate member of the Executive Committee. My desire is to walk alongside others in their faith journey, encouraging and praying for them as we pursue Christ together and grow in our relationship with Him. My prayer is that God would use me to reflect His compassion, extend His grace, and share the hope found in Jesus Christ. Outside of church ministry, I enjoy working out, taking walks with our dog Miso, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
